WHRG system is a power plant to generate power by recovering waste heat from cement production line without influence on the production output & quality of clinker.
Cement production line is the process which consumes big quantity of heat (100~115kg standard coal/t clinker) and power ( about 100~120kwh/t clinker). During the burning process of clinker, the waste heat below 350℃ emitted from pre-heater and grate cooler accounts for more than 30% of the total heat consumption.
If the exhaust gas can be recycled and transferred into power for cement production, it is helpful to reduce the total power consumption for clinker production by 60% and above 30% for cement production. It greatly decreases the quantity of power which cement factories need to buy from local power plant or is produced by its own power plant, so as to reduce the production consumption. Besides, it cuts down greenhouse effect and fuel consumption of power plants which supply electricity for cement factories. And less emission of CO2 and other burning wastes is useful for environment protection.
Therefore, it is a low-investment, instantly-effective way for cement factories to install waste heat power generation system to improve profits. At this stage, we attach three typical capacity of clinker production line as a reference:
Reduce production cost: Energy cost is up to 40% to 50% of the direct production cost for a cement production line.  WHRG can cover more than 30% of the total electric consumption of a cement plant.
Decrease emission pollution: WHRG can improve efficiency of cement production line and decrease the pollution of waste heat and CO2 emission to atmosphere.
